The approach

Specific and authentic, not packaged

A lot of application advice pushes students to become a version of what they think a school wants. That rarely reads as genuine, and it is exhausting to keep up. The work here goes the other direction. Our consultants help students identify the details, patterns, and stories that already make them who they are, then present those clearly across an application.

The goal is not to package a student into someone else. It is to help them present themselves specifically and honestly, so the people reading the application get a real sense of the person behind it.

That work goes well beyond essay editing. Depending on the package, it includes school-list strategy, activities and honors planning, testing timelines, scholarship and special-program applications, and guidance once decisions and aid letters arrive.

Every student benefits from two people reviewing their application, not just one. Rather than being assigned a single consultant, families get both Dr. Anthony's and Meaghan's perspective on every application.

Essentials Package

Comprehensive, senior-year support for students who already have a working list of schools and are ready to apply. We manage the full application process with you: refining the school list for academic, financial, and fit balance, building an application and essay strategy, tracking every deadline, and guiding final decisions once offers and aid letters arrive.

Premium Package

For students in any high school year who want support that starts well before senior year. Premium builds a multi-year academic and college plan, then delivers the full senior-year application process, and adds dedicated guidance through honors, scholarship, and specialized-program applications. It includes full support on the standard college application, plus up to 6 honors college, scholarship, and specialized-program applications such as BS/MD, each with its own essays, interviews, and requirements.

Honors and Scholarships Support

Dedicated help for students applying to honors colleges, scholarship programs, and competitive special programs, each of which often carries its own essays, strategy, and interviews. We help students plan, position, and prepare across up to 6 programs so these applications get the focused attention they need, whether as an add-on to Essentials or on their own.

Essay Support Only

Focused essay help for students who mainly need support with their writing. We work through brainstorming, drafting, feedback, and revision on the main Common App essay and supplements for up to 5 colleges, keeping the voice and the writing the student's own.

Hourly Consulting

Portfolio Website Support

Guidance building a simple Google Sites portfolio of up to 8 pages to showcase a student's work, projects, activities, accomplishments, or media. We help with initial design planning, structure, theme, and navigation, plus two feedback sessions, so students have a clean place to point colleges and programs. Available as an add-on to Premium or on its own.

  • Up to 1 hour of initial design planning
  • Structure, theme, and navigation guidance within Google Sites
  • Two feedback and correction sessions of 30 minutes each

The process

A collaborative process, step by step

Parents get clarity and structure. Students keep ownership of their voice and their choices. Here is how the work usually unfolds.

    Initial consultation

    We start by talking. Where is the student now, what is the family hoping for, and what feels stressful or unclear? This conversation also helps decide which level of support fits.

  2. 2

    Student story and goals

    We dig into strengths, interests, activities, and the details that make a student specific. This is the foundation for both the school list and the writing later on.

  3. 3

    Strategy and planning

    Together we shape a plan: a balanced school list, deadlines and milestones, an essay approach, and, depending on the package, testing, activities, honors, and scholarship strategy.

  4. 4

    Application, essay, or package work

    This is the hands-on stretch. Students draft and revise their own essays with our feedback and strategy. Applications, supplements, and any honors or scholarship pieces come together piece by piece.

  5. 5

    Final decisions and next steps

    As decisions and aid letters arrive, we review them together, compare offers, and think through fit one more time, including an appeals consultation if it is needed.

The essays stay the student's

We give strategy, feedback, and revision guidance. The writing, and the voice, stay the student's own. That allows a more comprehensive approach, and it keeps the work true to who they are.
